Description

These 4 inch regressed LED lights with square trim from NuWatt bring a stylish high-end look to modern home interiors. Our low glare 4 inch recessed lighting sets the light source deep into the frame, hiding it from view, giving homes a high end luxury look. NuWatt low glare LED downlights are ideal as kitchen or bathroom recessed lighting; engineered with a smooth inner reflector that directs light downward, creating a beam that prevents light spillage.

Designed for style as well as function, these 4 inch recessed lights feature a square trim that complements the clean geometric lines of shelves and cabinets. Warm-to-dim technology shifts the light from 3000K to 1800K as you dim, creating the warm glow of traditional incandescent lighting. Producing up to 850 lumens while using only 12 watts, NuWatt LED high lumen recessed lighting combines powerful brightness with significant energy savings.

Built with an aluminum body for long term durability and efficient heat dissipation, NuWatt professional grade sunken LED lights include LED chips rated for up to 50,000 hours. CRI 90+ ensures accurate color rendering, while smooth dimming down to 5% allows precise control of ambiance. ETL listed and Energy Star certified, each integrated LED recessed downlight is backed by a 5-year limited warranty and a fully US-based support team. These fixtures are airtight.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dim to warm lighting automatically shifts to a warmer color temperature as you lower the brightness, much like traditional incandescent bulbs. NuWatt dim to warm recessed lights provide bright, functional illumination when needed and a softer, warmer atmosphere as you dim.

Wafer lights have an ultra thin, nearly flat light module that fits into shallow ceiling spaces and produces a wider beam. NuWatt anti glare recessed lights combine NuWatt’s proprietary lens and LED chip to eliminate glare and deliver focused illumination. Their deeply recessed design creates an architectural look but requires more overhead clearance for installation.

NuWatt anti glare recessed lights use NuWatt proprietary lens design and spec grade COB LEDs, which together work to eliminate glare and deliver controlled illumination. The light source sits deeper inside the fixture, shielding it from direct view for a clean architectural finish.

Both work well in modern spaces. Wafer lights offer a slim, minimalist appearance. NuWatt anti glare recessed lights create a more architectural look and feature NuWatt’s proprietary lens and LED chip to eliminate glare. The best choice depends on your ceiling design and preferred style.

A wafer light is a type of ultra thin, canless recessed light that installs directly into a ceiling without traditional recessed housing. Its slim design makes it especially useful for shallow ceiling spaces, renovations, and areas with limited clearance.

Many NuWatt recessed lights can work with compatible smart dimmers and switches, allowing you to control brightness through an app or smart home system. Compatibility depends on the specific fixture and control. NuWatt also offers dedicated smart recessed lights with color and brightness control through an app.

Yes! NuWatt IC rated canless recessed lights allow both the LED light module and the junction box to be in direct contact with or covered by ceiling insulation.

Not exactly. Wet rated recessed lights are designed to withstand moisture and direct water exposure in covered outdoor ceilings and showers. However, wet rated does not mean the fixture can be submerged in water or exposed to high pressure water jets.

No, NuWatt wet rated recessed lights are not suitable for saunas or steam showers. These environments expose fixtures to extreme heat, humidity, and steam, requiring specialized ratings. Only install a fixture if its specifications explicitly approve it for those conditions.
