About our Canless LED Lights
Canless recessed lighting, also known as wafer lights or slim recessed lighting, is a modern alternative to traditional recessed can lights. These ultra thin LED lights gained popularity in the late 2010s when homeowners and builders wanted to install recessed lighting in places with limited space above the ceiling, where recessed cans would not fit. Canless recessed down light fixtures come with their own junction box. Canless lighting is usually wafer thin giving them the nick name ultra thin downlight. These energy efficient canless lights are much easier to install than old school LED can lights.
